A welcome surprise to the PS5 launch line up, Overcooked: All You Can Eat was originally supposed to release in December, yet it is now available on PS5 and Xbox Series on launch day!
This game is a fun popular couch coop made online capable game that will have you shouting and laughing with your friends and family as you try to get out as many dishes as possible. The game used to solely be couch coop but has now been given online integration which is a great upgrade that will allow countless hours of fun with friends and family even if they are not in the same room. Cross-platfrom play will allow you to play together no mater which system you play in.
Overcooked: All you can eat brings remastered Overcooked, Overcooked 2, and all dlc content together to be played in 4k and adds new levels and new chefs exclusive to All You Can Eat. On the PS5, the DualSence allows for a more epic experience since not only will you be getting audio cues from it but also the haptics will actually let you "feel" the heat.
The game will have campaign, survival, arcade, practice, and online modes. For the ones that will need a little boost on the harder levels, there will now be an assist mode as well that will give options to make the game easier, which in turn will not allow you to get trophies from the completed tasks. The versus mode is specially fun to play as it pits you against each other which is both exciting and hilariously frustrating.
Part of the new content for Overcooked:AUCE is The Peckish Rises which adds seven spooky levels and 3 new chefs. It will have you cooking in new silly ways like chopping with guillotines, dodging fire, and using canons. See trailer below.
This competitive yet casual cooking game has more than 200 levels and over 80 chefs to choose from, now all playable online, is out now on PS5 and Xbox Series!
