Sony Playstation gives us an up-close look of the PS5's internals. The bigger size of the PS5 compared to the PS4 was confirmed to be due to performance improvements and quiteness
The front of the PS5 has the usual Type-A USB port and the new addition being a USB-C port
The back of the PS5 has two Type-A USB ports, LAN port, HDMI port and the power port.
There are two rows on the front containing the air vents while the whole back of the PS5 is the exhaust port.
On the video below we can see how the base can come off and by twisting and snapping it into to place can be used as the base for the PS5 on its side.
The video mentions how the white panels snap right off to expose the fans and dust catcher ports that can be vacuumed .
